Orlando Restaurant: Chili's in Le Vista

Last week, after visiting Disney World, we do not want to be in the middle of the crowd trying to squeezed in to the monorail station so; we went home before the rush. We headed to Chili's in this address by the Orlando International Airport:

6949 S Semoran Blvd
Orlando, FL 32822
(phone) 407-859-3234

Hubby's order is the Half Rack of Baby Back Ribs w/ black beans in Original sauce.

We ordered an appetizer, the Half Flatbread.

My order is a Half Rack of Baby Back Ribs w/ home style fries in Memphis Dry Rub. This tastes good but, I like hubby's choice better.

This is Chili's location near the airport. When we live in Orlnado, our condo is just 2 miles from here so; this Chili's is really our favorite location.

We love Chili's because their prices are affordable, the service is great and the food is truly delicious.

How about you? Which Chili's is your favorite location?

Usually, the portion is a good size so; when we are famished like on this day, what we ordered fills us up. No space for desserts. Oh by the way, I used my GC provided by #AMEX. I paid less than $10 for everything. Now, check out the Chili's in your area soon. Thanks for stopping by.

Chinese Buffet in Merritt Island

Last Friday, I wanted to eat seafood's so; I treat my husband to New Century Buffet in Merritt Island for Dinner. This Chinese Restaurant is the best place to go if we are craving for different kinds of seafood. They have large size shrimps, clams, fish, crabs and more ... cooked fried, butter field, coconut shrimp, steamed, grilled, and so much more. They also have raw oysters aside from salads, desserts, pizzas, rolls, soups, sushi, and many more.

We came here three times already and it's always at dinner time. Their food is tasty, the place is clean and their employees are friendly. When they have seafood feast, we paid $27 and when they have no crabs, we only paid $22. I am not sure how much is the rate of their dinner. Next time, I will take more photos and will take a snap shot of their rates for brunch and dinner.
Here is the address:

New Century Buffet

735 N Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, FL ‎

(321) 453-1117 ‎

I love their shrimps and crabs. Their desserts are not that many.

This is what it looks like, the New Century Buffet in Merritt Island. Check it out! I never tried their lunch yet, maybe we will go there one of these days.

Lunch at Olive Garden Along Colonial Drive

From Orlando heading to Cocoa on rush hour routing Colonial Drive? Forget about it! You will definitely want to get out from the traffic. We found a way to avoid the traffic. We had to pass the awesome neighborhood in Waterford Lakes to avoid the traffic but last week, we were so famished and it was already lunch time. Traffic was backed-up due to accident so; we decided to stop by at Olive Garden. I ordered a thirsty-quenching limonata while hubby on his usual soda.

Location:
Waterford Lakes
11882 E Colonial Drive
Orlando, FL 32826
(407) 381-8084

The ambiance was good. The service was great though, my limonata was served late. The server forgot about it but, she apologized. It was a busy day so; it happens. I ordered my soup which comes in the meal I selected. My favorite is Chicken and Gnocchi which is a creamy soup made with roasted chicken, traditional Italian dumplings and spinach. Now, I am craving for one.

My main order was Braised Beef and Tortelloni. First time that I ordered this and not bad at all. It is a tender sliced short ribs and portobello mushrooms tossed with asiago-filled tortelloni in a basil-marsala sauce. If you have a great appetite and famished, the portion is a bit small and you might have a room for another soup. Anyway, I will try this again in Olive Garden along Florida Mall area and I can tell the difference.

The caption on the photo is incorrect but, it was too late to edit (Olive Garden at Colonial Drive - Waterford Lakes area). Chow!

Grilled Sausage and Peppers Rustica at Olive Garden

I have been blogging since early morning time but, I took the time off from time time to take a nap and eat meals. I want all my tasks and reviews done this week so that; I can start anew by next week. As I was browsing photos, I saw this plate. Hubby's plate actually when we went to Olive Garden last Thursday along Colonial Drive in Orlando. I know that the caption was pretty messed up. There is no Olive Garden in S Semoran Blvd. Anyway, this is Grilled Sausage and Peppers Rustica. This plate has Italian sausage, bell peppers and fresh mozzarella with penne in a zesty marinara sauce.

Looking at it made me hungry and I told hubby that I want to eat pasta. He had some papers to finish so; we both had no time to go out for lunch instead, hubby baked macaroni and cheese ... lots of cheese actually. My cravings was satisfied today. Anytime this week, we will definitely go to Olive Garden.

Olive Garden at Colonial Drive

Do you like Italian food? I love to dine in the Italian Restaurant. The pasta is so good. Okay regarding the photo below, I meant to say Colonial Drive not S Semoran Blvd, my bad. When my husband and I heads home from Orlando, we decided to have dinner at Olive Garden in :

11882 E Colonial Drive
Orlando, FL 32826
(407) 381-8084

It was our first in this location. The server was very courteous and knows the menu very well. I ordered a limonata, a Chicken and Gnocchi soup, and Braised Beef and Tortelloni. I was already halfway with my soup when I called the server regarding my limonata.

She apologized for the delay, she forgot. Anyway, I had a great meal and I enjoyed the tender sliced short ribs and portobello mushrooms in my plate. The asiago-filled tortelloni in a basil-marsala sauce tastes good and I was full quick that I need to take out half of my Braised Beef and Tortelloni.

The server is pleasant and nice, from time to time she checked on us. Our dining experience is good and whether I will visit this location again? Absolutely!

Ale House Loaded Fries

Oh yeah, this is truly delicious! Forget about losing weight for few hours yeah? If you love french fries, go and visit Ale House in your area and try the Ale House Loaded Fries. Hubby celebrated his birthday with his friends and co-workers at Miller's Ale House along this address:  6141 S Semoran Blvd Orlando, Florida. Hubby and I enjoyed the company of his friends. While hubby was talking from one friend to another, I was busy munching the fries LOL. I could have enjoyed it more if this order arrived while it is hot and the cheeses are melting and chewy at the top. It was a busy evening so; I totally understand the server's service imperfection.

Okay now, the ALE HOUSE LOADED FRIES is a one pound of seasoned fries with melted yummy Jack and Cheddar Cheeses, Scallions, Bacon Bits and Ranch Dressing for Dipping. I tell you, this is huge and could be shared for two. This is only $7.99 ... yep, affordable huh? Try it!

Delicious Dinner in Olive Garden at the Millenia Mall

The other day, we went to Orlando to dine at Cheesecake Factory. When we were in the Mall of Millenia area, we had circled countless times and we never found the building of Cheesecake Factory. Since we were so famished, we decided to dine instead at Olive Garden. Well, that's not hard to do because I was all set for my Chicken and Gnocchi soup and bread sticks. This is what I ordered and since I love fettuccine pasta in a cream sauce, I truly enjoyed my plate. I can't believe that I devour this big portion of delicious pollo and pasta. This plate of food simply satisfies my palate and the taste is simply heaven.

When hubby asked the receptionist about the location of Cheesecake Factory, he was told that the restaurant is located inside the mall. The GPS provided a miscalculated route. Funny! Anyway, here's what hubby ordered, a good portion of seafood lasagna with scallop and shrimp in it and the cheese is really yummy. I would definitely recommend these two when you visit Olive Garden. The food is worth every penny you spend.

Hubby and I had a wonderful dinner and we only spent $40 with tip. We tried the $25 special which consists of one starter/dessert to share, 2 entrees' plus unlimited salads/soups and bread-sticks.

I have my soup to go for I wanted to enjoy the main dish. Hubby and I were full and happy (wink). The server and everyone is great. The ambiance is relaxing, clean, and we had the booth which we love to sit on.

If you happen to be shopping along Millenia Mall, you will not miss the building of Olive Garden for it is located along Millenia Mall at 4101 Conroy Road, Orlando, FL 32839 and if you want to call for direction, call: (407) 345-8331.

Now, I am hungry for their sampler ...hmmm. :-) Don't forget to check out those yummy food plates at Olive Garden in your area.

Panera Bread at Fashion Square Mall in Orlando

"We are bakers of bread. We are fresh from the oven.
We are a symbol of warmth and welcome.
We are a simple pleasure, honest and genuine.
We are a life story told over dinner.
We are a long lunch with an old friend.
We are your weekday morning ritual.
We are the kindest gesture of neighbors.
We are home.
We are family. We are friends."

Fashion Square Mall is located in East Colonial Drive in Orlando, Florida. It is a two-story indoor shopping mall where locals and tourists can shop in Dillard's, JC Penney, Macy's and Sears. When I wanted to have an easy shopping experience and avoid the rush of tourists, Fashion Square Mall is a good place to shop and Panera Bread is a favorite restaurant that hubby and I love to hang out.

Anyway, I love this location because the staffs are friendly in fact, I saw people taking advantage of their FREE WiFi for the longest time and yet, Panera Bread consider the costumers friends and family, as what was stated above.

My favorite cafe soup is Broccoli Cheddar which is chopped broccoli, shredded carrot and select seasonings simmered in a velvety smooth cheese sauce.  The photo above is tuna sandwich with leaf lettuce, tomatoes and red onions, my personal favorite sandwich. Oh you should check out Panera Bread at Fashion Square Mall.

Breakfast at the Restaurant in IKEA Home Store

It's been a while since we last visited IKEA Home Store. I miss dining in their restaurant before we head to shopping. My husband and I usually go there to unwind, eat and have a little shopping. That's always the plan but, we end up shopping for more and eat less LOL. IKEA has this FREE breakfast freebies on certain days and sometimes, we were able to avail it. The picture below is usually the free breakfast plate ... good food huh?

This is hubby's plate, biscuits and gravy. IKEA coffee is one of my favorites. Since we are members of IKEA Family Club, we can avail and enjoy free coffee or hot tea every time we visit the restaurant! Become a member today, it is FREE!

I usually do not take photos with people but, I just want to show you one section of the restaurant. The Industrial ceiling is cool huh?

The croissant is not my favorite but, it was good. Croissant is a buttery flaky viennoiserie bread roll which is named for its well-known crescent shape. Do you like it?

I love having breakfast in IKEA. Weekdays are the best time to shop in IKEA and early morning because the crowd is tolerable. We plan to go there next week and buy some accessories for the bathroom and living room. Thanks for stopping by. Check out my post tomorrow. Stay happy.

Asian Buffet

I love to travel and one activity that is very important for me is checking out fine dining and buffet restaurants in the area. If I am not that hungry, I usually prefer fine dining. That is not the case when I am famished. I don't want to wait a long queue to be seated plus, waiting time for the order to serve on the table usually 15 minutes or more. My grumpy tummy would be complaining by then so; buffet is good.

All these photos were taken in a Chinese Restaurant in Singing River Mall in Mississippi. I told you I love to travel and yep, been there.

Just last week, when hubby and I traveled to the Midwest, I was so hungry and was craving for steamed rice. The only place to buy a good steamed rice is Asian Restaurant. We stop at Chattanooga Tennessee and bought myself a take out Chinese foodies. That food really fills me up until the next day.

Last Monday while we were driving home, I was craving again for steamed rice and spring rolls. Thank goodness for a Korean restaurant, I was able to buy the food.

I can't live without rice in a day I guess. Check out these desserts. I love cheesecake and brownies. They are so good and when I ate desserts, I always order coffee with cream. Such a delightful meal for me.

How about you? Do you prefer fine dining or buffet? If you happen to pass by in Biloxi, Mississippi, you should check out the buffet in their casinos. OMG! Very festive, affordable and yummy!

Good Places to Dine

I woke up craving for yummy foodies. For two days hubby and I just lounging at home watching TV, grilling at the backyard, doing gardening and facebooking. Oh yeah, social media is just a good place to snoop some interesting stories about friends and of course, we knew that people snooped us too. Well, I downloaded pictures of food most of the time so; people might think I eat a lot! LOL, whatever (*-*) Anyway, here is a picture of good food from Panera Bread: sandwich and soup.

The second photo is one of my favorites in Ruby Tuesday. This is Chicken Trio which is basically tender all-natural chicken breasts done in three ways: fresco, bella, and mango salsa as toppings and served over rice pilaf as one of the sides.

The last photo is super quenching Strawberry Mango Limonata at Olive Garden. I guess today, we need to dine out and watch a movie.

Try these when you visit Panera Bread, Ruby Tuesday and Olive Garden, you will enjoy your meal definitely. See yah and thanks for stopping by.

Strawberry Cheesecake with Ice Cream at Tony Roma's

Hubby and I went to one of our favorite restaurants Tony Roma's at South Semoran Boulevard. We live in an area where access to many restaurants is just across the streets. To name a few, Joe's Crab Shack's, Chili's, Sonny's, Denny's, High Tide Harry's, Fridays, Tony Roma's and more. Hubby and I had our lunch at Tony Roma's and hubby ordered steak and wild mushroom flat bread and mine, the delicious shrimp and salmon piccata. Our dessert is strawberry cheesecake with ice cream but, hubby ate it all LOL. I am not fond of desserts and I am full with my meal, no more space for desserts. Would I recommend Tony Roma's at South Semoran Boulevard? YES, definitely. The food servers are very friendly and has the knowledge of the entree'. They check on you if you enjoyed your meal and we love the industrial ambiance of this place. Check it out!

Pick-Two Orders at Panera Bread

This soup is a creamy chicken stew with carrots, leeks, peas and diced red potatoes garnished with dry jack cheese biscuit. I love the soup but, I just don't like the biscuit. For me, the soup is sellable as it is even without the biscuit. Here's one of my favorite soups in Panera Bread, broccoli cheddar. The look of the Bakery area in Panera Bread. This is the all natural sonoma chicken stew with dry jack cheese biscuit paired with smoked ham and swiss sandwich. My favorite pick-two order. My husband ordered broccoli cheddar soup with tuna salad sandwich.Panera Bread is our favorite place to meet clients. It is a very convenient meeting place, has a good WiFi connection and the food is great.

Italian Restaurant in Orlando: Olive Garden

Though I crave for a Chinese food on Valentine's Day, my husband prefer to dine at Olive Garden in Florida Mall location in Orlando. It's my treat for him. Wives often times neglected the fact that husbands need the gesture of caring too. On Valentines, it will be my treat! Here's the classic Italian dessert, Tiramisu, all for him with some love! I ordered from the Classic Recipe menu and I had a Chicken Parmigiana which is a Parmesan-breaded chicken breast, fried&topped with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese with spaghetti on the side.Hubby ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana, lightly breaded eggplant. It's fried and just like my order, it comes with a spaghetti.Since it comes with a salad or soups, we both ordered our favorite Chicken Gnocchi, a creamy soup made with a roasted chicken, dumplings and spinach. Food is great! Servers in this restaurant are always awesome! Would I recommend this restaurant? Of course. You should check out this address:

Long John Silvers and Taco Bell

We went to BJ's the other day and did our grocery. On our way home, we stopped by at Long John Silvers and grab me a fish and fries meal while hubby chose the crunchy tacos. I am not crazy with hush puppies but at Long John's, I can eat few of these. I only eat the cod fish , it taste alright but, the fish meat is lost with the thick batter, LOL. Anyway, my husband loves the tacos. I did order one soft taco for me, it taste good. Once in a while, we came here if we crave for whitefish fillet.
