Searching for a Dedicated Server

I know someone who uses Webzilla and he was a customer for a long time. He uses the Website in line with his IT job but, since he had another career, he passes it on to the new guy in the company. I feel so lucky that I love my job. Most of my friends have had a tough time finding something that they really like. I don’t think that I am more talented or a harder worker than them. I just think I got lucky and found the right place for me sooner than most people do. I’ve been given a raise every year I’ve worked there, and I’m about to be promoted to a management position. I socialize a lot with the people I work with too, which is good because it gives me a different perspective than hanging out with my friends does. Some of them are older and have meaningful and helpful advice to give me. One of my coworkers is a great bargain hunter, and she has given me some really great tips. She told me I should use Direct Star TV for my TV service and I saved a bunch. She also gives me coupons she finds along the way. My younger friends would never be able to help me like that! I’m just happy I work at a place where I fit in and am part of the family.

When my husband gets home from a long day at the office what he usually wants to do is to veg out in front of the TV and watch the news. I know I shouldn’t be jealous but with all the 24 hour news channels our www.TVBYDIRECT.COM satellite gets he can sometimes be sitting there for hours looking at stocks and market prices when I feel like what he should really be doing is catching up with me after a long day! Ever since me and my husband decided to invest in tvbydirect.com we have been watching a lot of the A&E show Intervention. I have worked in the mental health field for a long time so I have plenty of experience in dealing with addiction to drugs and alcohol and it is nice to watch this show, it is kind of like looking in from the outside of what I do. I love that this really involves the family and friends of the addicts. It shows that addiction hurts everyone around and is not exclusively the addict's problem. It never places blame or ridicule but offers solutions and help which is exactly what an addict needs. The show really makes it clear that drug and alcohol addiction are sicknesses that need treatment just like the flu or cancer. Addicts cannot just stop on their own anymore than a cancer patient can get rid of a tumor just by thinking about it. My favorite part of the show is the actually intervention. It is also so suspenseful not knowing if the addict will accept the help or not. I also love the short follow up at the end that shows them either in treatment doing great, or that they have failed and are back on the streets. Of course I hope everyone gets help and succeeds but there are cases when it just isn't enough.

Top Chef, a Battle of Cooks

Top Chef is a cooking competition that airs on the Bravo network. I've watched several seasons of it so far, and it is my favorite reality show. I watch Top Chef on my satellite dish. Padma Lakshmi is the host, and I think she is one of the most elegant ladies on TV from www.expertsatellite.com. Tom Colicchio is a judge on the show, and he is a famous chef in his own right. I value his opinion because he is brutally honest. Contestants are chosen to compete against one another for an array of prizes. Past winners have received prize money, a feature in Food & Wine Magazine, as well as an expenses-paid vacation.

The judges' critiquing session is my ! favorite part of the each episode. Since I can only see what each dish looks like, it is imperative for me to get an idea of how each dish tastes based on the judges' critiques. Sometimes they praise a particular dish, and I imagine what the food would taste like. At other times, the judges ridicule a chef that has stumbled in the week's challenge. At the end of each episode, the judges eliminate at least one chef whom they feel has not performed well.
