Juicy Grilled Ribs

Isn't this good or what? While watching Food Network Channel, boy oh boy ... I was hungry. When I checked the fridge, I found a baby-back ribs. I was so delighted because I can eat a big meal. We have an outdoor grill and we used it a lot. This time, I used the indoor grill besides, I only prep for 1 pound of baby back ribs.

I don't know how you prepare your ribs but mine, I usually brine the meat. 1 hour is fine but, an overnight will tastes better. It will be juicy, tasty and tender. I love using meat that has a little fats on it. With spices, the more ... the merrier! I always love well-done so, the photo below is mine and the first photo is hubby's share.

I am a fan of homemade mashed potato now so; the potato above is alright. I really don't care because I was hungry. We always have vegetables in every plate so, the green beans are just perfect on this plate. Let's chow friends. After devouring this food, I resumed watching TV LOL. Anyway, what's your favorite home cook food?

Orlando Airport Ale House

Bits of crispy bacon, lots of cheese and fries ... dang ... that's what I craved when I had my migraine. Oh yeah, it helps a lot. Lower your eyebrows friends, LOL. When we went to Saint Cloud, Florida, my migraine was kickin' in. With misty eyes, was burnin' hot and my mind wandered what I would do for relief. A good cold shower helps a bit but, since we were on the road traveling for almost two hours in a scorching heat, pain was really bad. After meeting with a friend, hubby mentioned about Ale House. Oh my goodness, I remember this:

I told him, we will have lunch at Ale House and we drove 35 minutes from Saint Cloud to the Airport Ale House. I ordered the ALE HOUSE LOADED FRIES, a pound of seasoned fries with melted jack and Cheddar Cheeses, scallions, bacon bits and ranch dressing for dipping. This is humongous so; I end up asking for a box after the meal. Burp! Oppsss ...

A blurry shot huh? This is hubby's favorite, FRENCH ONION SOUP: onions sauteed in a sherry broth and smothered in a thick layer of provolone cheese. I did not try but he said this is his all time favorite soup.

The husband ordered this too but, we shared. BABY BACK RIBS half rack is one of the specialty at Miller's Ale House. Fall off the bone indeed! It is slow cooked and smothered with southern BBQ Sauce served with choice of Potato and cole slaw. We were so full and had no space for dessert (wink).

On our next visit, I will try the OSSOBUCO. The picture looks good but, was not too thrilled to eat at that time. It is a marinated pork shank served with mashed potatoes,  gravy and vegetable of the day. Sounds delicious right? When we went home, my migraine slowly disappear. (wink) ...

Grilling

Hubby and I love to use our grill and when we crave for baby back ribs, we just hit Publix nearby and buy a nicely cut and fresh ribs. We usually seasoned the ribs with Chinese herbs and spices, boil it and when it's already half cook, we grill it to finish up. We have slices of grilled onions, green pepper and red tomatoes for a side dish. We usually cannot eat this in one meal. But, to make the most of the charcoal we grilled pound of ribs and sausages. Let's chow peeps! Looks like a dry rub huh? I eat mine like this and I do not need a barbecue sauce but, hubby did. The meat is so tender and most of the bones will separate from the meat. Yum!

Baby Back Ribs at Ruby Tuesday

Who wants babyback ribs? Not this season huh? For Catholics, we should at least give-up meat (food abstinence) and observe fasting as spiritual discipline. Last Thursday, I ordered this menu when hubby and I had lunch at Ruby Tuesday at Marianna Florida. We drove 7 hours from Orlando and as we were looking for a fine dining restaurant, we saw Ruby Tuesday signage on the highway. It was good and I know I won't be craving for another piece of meat anytime soon. After Easter for sure.

Baby Back Ribs at Chili's

Every week, hubby and I meet up with our German friend who just lost her husband less than a year ago. We take turns in paying our breakfast bills but, I am not a big fan of breakfast really. So, when it's my turn, I would bring them for a lunch or a dinner. It will cost more but, I am enjoying it as much as they are.
I have a $30 GC from Chili's Grill and Bar Restaurant and I was thinking, I should use it for our lunch today. I ordered a half rack of Baby Back Ribs with home style fries and I chose a Memphis dry rub flavor. It was good but, it's not juicy this time. The meat is not "perfectly tender' and it's dry in fact, the meat is hard to come off from the bone so, I did not finish my plate. The last time I was here and tasted the Original flavor, it was so great! Now, it just the opposite but, I just eat it because it's very tasty and savory.

Ruby Tuesday's Baby Back Ribs

Last Tuesday, we dine in at Ruby Tuesday at the Florida Mall because I craved for baby-back ribs. I ordered the Asian Sesame Glazed Baby-Back Ribs, it's a slow-cooked half rack covered with peanut-barbecue sauce such a sweet and tangy taste. Of course, what you see on top of the baby-back ribs are sesame seeds.
Since it comes along with two sides, I chose the mash potato and rice pilaf. This is a large portion for me so I always asked for a box to take it home with me. I love the rice pilaf, not a big fan really but, this works for me. Will I recommend this for lunch or dinner? Certainly will! Try it! This is my entry for this week's Yummy Sunday! Thanks for stopping by!
