Summer time here in Florida is hot and humid. Gardening is not fun at all and I admit, some of my flowering plants withered, sad but that is beyond my control. Glad to note that some of my plants endured the scorching heat. These are the fruits and veggie for my table. My Kumquats are doing well with few remaining ripe fruits and new greens showed up.

The vines of my grapes are thriving so; hubby and I did a DIY project. It is not done but, we are getting there. The grapes are getting bigger each day and I am excited.

This will be my last batch of Okra and I am saving some seeds to make another set of new ones. Okra is so easy to grow and does not need bigger space. You should have one and it grows well in pots too.

Here is my precious Calamondin which is known as Calamansi back home. For my consumption, I never run out of fruits and I am so happy I found this plant at Wal-Mart about a year ago for only $9. It is now 5ft tall.

Next time, I am sure I will be making a calamondin jelly and of course, calamondin juice. Now, all of a sudden I want a calamondin juice. What have you got in your garden? I would love to hear about it.
My bitter melon is growing so good as well as the green beans. Fruits started showing up with my lemon, calamondin, and sour orange. I can't wait to use them in my kitchen.
Anyway, I can eat this serving for two days. It's truly satisfying! Check it out! The vegies are crunchy and if you are allergic with nuts, you can ask them for an alternate ingredient. Enjoy your day! Chow!
My visit to IKEA is always fun and exciting! We go shopping and if hungry, we dine in at their restaurant located in the second floor. This is a Swedish Home Department Store where you can shop almost everything that you need in your home.
You go shopping by viewing the display in the second floor. Once you have your pick, you only need to copy the item number and the aile location then, proceed to the warehouse in the first floor. This is a self-service store so; you need someone to go assist with you if you shop for big furnitures. That's an exciting activity for me especially when I have to assemble the furniture myself :-) There is a self-service check out which I love to use because I can do it faster. Check in your country if you have IKEA store, you should visit it.
This is my entry for Yummy Sunday. Enjoy your day everyone. Thanks for dropping by.
Hubby loves Southern cooking so, any food that taste like Louisiana cooking, he loves it! Gumbo is more tastier with craw fish in it. Oh! I missed eating craw fish too, that's affordable in Mississippi where we live.
This is Beef and Chicken Vegetable with Chili Beans and cooked using my best kitchen buddy, the "crock pot". Honestly, crock pot do wonders most of the time hehehe. Beef and chicken cooked as one entree? That would be me, experimenting LOL!
They have all kinds of amazing and beautiful home furnitures and home accessories. Well, you will never get hungry while you do your shopping spree because, their restaurant can feed you good at reasonable price. Check it out!
