Corn Dog and a Coffee: A Weird Combo

Hubby would always say that I am weird with my food selection LOL. First, he noticed that I ate rice in every meal. I ate stinky fish (LOL), that's what he called for dried fish, hahaha. I ate with my hands. After 5 years, he don't mind at all in fact; he cooked rice every day for me. Filipinos love to eat with our hands but in formal gatherings of course, we are expert in using spoon, fork and table knives. It is also weird for us seeing people eating rice using the fork LOL. I get used to that too. Anyway, here is another weird combination of food that I ate in today's' breakfast, a corn dog and a coffee. Oh, it is so good. Believe me, after this weird craving today, I don't know when I ever eat this combo again, wink.

Breakfast at the Restaurant in IKEA Home Store

It's been a while since we last visited IKEA Home Store. I miss dining in their restaurant before we head to shopping. My husband and I usually go there to unwind, eat and have a little shopping. That's always the plan but, we end up shopping for more and eat less LOL. IKEA has this FREE breakfast freebies on certain days and sometimes, we were able to avail it. The picture below is usually the free breakfast plate ... good food huh?

The croissant is not my favorite but, it was good. Croissant is a buttery flaky viennoiserie bread roll which is named for its well-known crescent shape. Do you like it?

I love having breakfast in IKEA. Weekdays are the best time to shop in IKEA and early morning because the crowd is tolerable. We plan to go there next week and buy some accessories for the bathroom and living room. Thanks for stopping by. Check out my post tomorrow. Stay happy.

Espresso Coffee

One of the things that I can't do without is a cup of creamy espresso on a lazy afternoon. Isn't it tempting?My espresso coffee is heaven. I always prefer my coffee to have a thicker consistency. Foamy is better and it delights my senses, aww y'all know what I meant. LOL! Anyway, when I go to Starbucks, I prefer latte, cappuccino, macchiato, or mocha coffee. I know that espresso coffee has more caffeine per unit volume but, the usual serving size is smaller about 1 US fluid ounce shot of espresso has 40 to 75 mg of caffeine. That's less than half the caffeine of a standard 8 US fluid ounces cup. Awww! I really do not care about figures. All I know is that I like my coffee and I am enjoying it. Yum!

Chocolate Cookie Crumble Frappuccino

Right at this second I am craving for a a Chocolate Cookie Crumble Frappuccino from Starbucks. It is so delicious and smells yummy. You should try it on your next visit! I need to finish my online tasks but, I am too sleepy to do it. It is almost two AM now and I will check the fridge if I have a Starbucks beverage. Hoping that I can find something to make my taste buds busy. Not the right time to hit the bed yet. Got tons of tasks to accomplish!Yep! Got starbucks ice cream! Want some?

Free Coffee and Doughnut at RaceTrac

I admire some establishments that give back something to their customers. Twice it happened that we got coupons from the mail. It has 4 coupons for a Free Coffee, Free Breakfast and Free Doughnuts. Race Trac is one of our favorite gas stations for years now. Having this promotion is helpful to boost their business even more.
