Steamed Plantain for Snacks

When I wanted to eat Filipino food, I go for ways to satisfy my cravings. Today, I wanted to eat banana with bagoong dip. Well, I have the bagoong which I bought from the Filipino store but, the type of banana that I was looking for is scarce here in Florida so; plantain is the alternative. Thanks to my Hamilton Beach steamer, the prep is so easy. I usually set it to 30 to 40 minutes, depending as to quantity of plantain that I wanted to cook. Oh, this steamed banana fills me up. It is my snack and I think I will have a late lunch later. What is your favorite snack?
