Fit and Active Products: Fat Free Snacks

Aldie is one of my favorite grocery stories for one good reason, low price. If you think Wal-Mart has lower prices, go and check out Aldie and you will be blown away. I will give you an example, Titusville Florida- a gallon of 2% milk costs $4.08 in Wal-Mart but, in Aldie it's $2.99 and guess what, other Aldie stores priced it at $1.99 (Merritt Island). That's true! Next time, I will take a photo to prove that Aldie has low prices. Anyway, you heard about Fit and Active products right? If you are on a diet, you should check out this brand.

My husband is diabetic so; he tried this cookie cake and guess what; it's delicious. You should try this devil's food because it's not too sweet and its really delicious. Buy it and let me know but, I am sure that you will agree. I am not on a diet but, thanks to hubby for introducing this devil's cake to me. I like it a lot.

Here is another snack that I would like you to try. This cookie is good for diet, tastes great and very affordable. Just visit your Aldie store and find this product #FitandActive and I am sure, you will like it as much as I did.

Why Bakery Cookies Look So Good

If you enjoy baking, chances are you’ve walked by a bakery window and wondered why your cookies don’t look like that. Whether they’re big, fluffy chocolate chip cookies or sugar cookies with intricate icing designs, they are hard to replicate at home. You can always purchase these beautiful baked goods; you can even order them online from www.cookiesbydesign.com, but what is it that makes bakery cookies so hard to match at home?

Artists

One reason is that bakeries have artists who are responsible for decorating their cakes and cookies. These artists have learned many techniques through training and experience, so they are able to do spectacular things on a cookie. You can take classes or look for videos online that teach you these same techniques, and with enough practice you can get pretty good. The artists in a bakery have the benefit of practicing on hundreds of baked goods each day.

Edible Printing

Another advantage bakeries have over home bakers is access to edible printing. When you see a high-detail logo or image on a sugar cookie, chances are that an artist didn’t do that by hand. Instead, special printers are able to take any image and print it out on an edible sheet that can be applied to cookies or cakes. These printers are expensive, so you won’t likely be able to afford one for your home, but you can order custom edible prints online for special occasions.

Experience and Control

Aside from the meticulous icing and other decorations, sometimes bakery cookies just look better. They may be fluffier or their shape may be more appealing than what comes out of your own oven, and it’s experience and control that help them achieve these results. A bakery has a cookie recipe that has been used thousands of times, and has been adjusted for perfection. At home, you likely only use a cookie recipe a few times a year. A bakery also uses the exact same ingredients each time, whereas at home you may use a different brand of butter or flour each time. With a lot of practice and attention to detail, it is possible to achieve great looking cookies at home, or you can avoid the hassle and purchase them from www.cookiesbydesign.com.

Newman's Own Organics Are Simply My Favorite

By far, NOO is the most generous company that I worked for and I am happy to tell you that their products are worth buying for. When I told a cousin that I received a big box with generous amount of products from Newman's Own Organics, she was blown away! She knew about Newman because she uses their products such as the sauce and dressing. I told her that Newman's Own and Newman's Own Organics (NOO) are separate companies.

NOO started as a division of Newman's Own in 1993 by Nell Newman and her business partner, Peter Meehan. In early 2001, NOO became a separate company. The two companies have separate lines of products and as you can see the photos below, all products came from Newman's Own Organics or NOO.

Their products are the following:
1. Pretzels
2. Chocolate Bars
3. Fig Newman's
4. Family Recipe Cookies
5. Chocolate Cups
6. Newman's O
7. Pops Corn
8. Alphabet Cookies
9. Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar
10. Coffee
11. Dried Fruit
12. Pet Food
13. Hermits
14. Mints
15. Royal Tea
16. Licorice
In the box which was packed perfectly are the following:
6 chocolate bars; 1 bag of Prunes, 4 mints, 4 Newman's O, 4 licorice, 2 bags of pretzels, 1 hermits, 1 Fig, 2 chocolate cups, 2 Family Recipe Cookies and 1 Alphabet Cookies. A total of 28 delicious treats and honestly, I still have the pretzels and cookies today.
