Camote Cue and Banana Smoothie for Snacks

This is my favorite snacks, camote cue (sweet potato with caramelized light brown sugar) and banana smoothie. I usually deep fry the sweet potato first and put them on hot skillet, no oil and sprinkle the light brown sugar. It will eventually caramelized. Once the sugar sticks to the sweet potato then, its all set. I used the Magic Bullet for my banana smoothie. My banana smoothie ingredient: one banana, ice cube, milk and no sugar, I like it like that. Well, sometimes I add 1 sweet n' low :-) This snack fills me up until dinner time.

Apple Pie: My Favorite Dessert

I don't usually eat dessert when we dine out. The entree' order fills me up good. When we were in Mississippi, we love to go to Hard Rock Satisfaction Buffet. My first plate is cheese cake and chocolate cake. I have to eat those first because they are so yummy paired with a sweet cup of coffee with creamier. Now, that is my appetizer. I would go to the Asian area to get my rice, piece of chicken and clam soup. Oh my goodness, I miss that place!

Here in the Space Coast, hubby and I found our favorite buffet. It is located in Titusville, Florida and it's a newly opened business. Their food is honest to goodness great. I love their sushi, clams, craw fish and this apple pie is my dessert together with the banana and something like a beignet. This time, no coffee because that's not included in the buffet.

Great for Banana Cue

One of my favorite snacks is the nutritious and delicious banana cue. It is a deep fried banana coated with caramelized brown sugar. A friend who lives in Louisiana sent me this banana. I told her that our Asian store here doesn't sell this type of banana so; she was so kind enough to send me this. When I crave for banana cue, I just use the plantain but, nothing can compare the right consistency of banana cue using the bananas in the Philippines. Plantain is soggy but, it can at least satisfy my craving.

As you can see, I have a bonus goodies too. She sent me a cracker. She is such a sweet and generous friend. Thank you so much Ging Chloe for these yummy great treats. I am so grateful for your generosity and kindness. God bless you always.
