The Basics of Ferrite Magnetic Powder

Most people simply go about their day not worrying about how the things they use each day work. They use microwaves to heat breakfast, then sit down and check email, bank accounts, and the news on a laptop, phone, or tablet. After that, they hop in their cars, and drive away to work with the sound of music blaring in their ears. Once they reach work, most people spend some time in front of a computer, or speak to people on the phone. A few hours later, they go out to grab some lunch on their break, and pay for it with the swipe of a card. What most people don’t realize is that every single daily task just described requires the use of magnets. And, taking it one step further, each magnet is made out of ferrite magnetic powder.
If you would like to learn more about magnets and ferrite powder, then you should read this short article for more information. As you can see from the above paragraph, you use magnets in your daily routine almost without realizing it. Because magnets play such an important part in modern living and technology, the demand for them has been very high through the last few decades. Most of these types of magnets are produced using ferrite powder and ceramic bindings. The ferrite powder is what brings the magnetic properties to the part being produced.

Depending on the type of application that the part is being produced for, it will be made into either a soft or hard ferrite. The main difference between these two types of ferrites is that soft ferrite magnets can change their polarity easily, while hard ferrites hold polarity much better. Soft ferrites are used in applications such as high-frequency radio transformers. Hard ferrites are used to produce permanently magnetized magnets that you would find in your home holding items up on the refrigerator.

Now that you know more about ferrite magnetic powder, you will probably have a better appreciation for all of the appliances, speakers, automobiles, and other advanced products that use magnets. In addition, you will also remember that magnets are made out of ferrite powder when you see them hanging on the refrigerator door.

Baking the Four Cheese Italian Pasta with Pollo

Eating is one of my favorite things to do and diet is not in my vocabulary. That's true! I love to eat rice too. Oh, I can't last a day with out it! How's your Sunday by the way? I bet you had a wonderful time with your family. We spent the day at home after all, Sunday at this time of the year means Football Sunday. Hubby and I attended an early morning mass at Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Merritt Island and since BJ's, our favorite store is just nearby, we went there for grocery shopping.

I bought a shredded 4 cheese Italian blend cheese for my pasta and pollo dish. I was so glad that hubby appreciate the baked pasta which I served for lunch today. It's creamy and cheesy!

I will have the recipe ready on my next post. I tell you what, this is truly delicious. Thanks for stopping by. I will see you next time.

Pizza Hut Meal and the Conjuring

Yesterday, hubby and I decided to watch The Conjuring movie at home via #BrightHouse #OnDemand. This movie will set us into the scary mood for Halloween. The Conjuring is a supernatural horror film starring Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson. They portrayed as Ed and Lorraine Warren, the paranormal investigators. This movie is about the case they handled on the Perron family. The family experienced a scary events in their farmhouse in Harrisville, Rhode Island happened in 1971.

The movie is based on a true story and it was scary but I admit, this is not the scariest movie that I saw. I recommend that you watch it. It is worth watching for. Since we stayed at home, pizza, pasta and chicken wings are awesome part in our movie watching.

I ordered the good for two creamy chicken alfredo with breadsticks at Pizza Hut. The big meal I ordered was good for our lunch and dinner.
I also ordered the dinner box since I love the cinnamon that comes with it.

We ate good while watching the movie. We can only eat faster as adrenalin rush sets in LOL. The only time I jolted from my seat was when one of the girls was attacked by the witch. Remember that scene when the witch was at the top of the cabinet? BOOO! Happy Halloween.

Visit a Range Near You to Learn about Firearms

Even though the debate over guns continues to rage on in America, there are many people on both sides of the political spectrum who are interested in learning how to properly handle a firearm. If you are new to the world of guns, you might feel a little bit of trepidation at first. However, doing some research and visiting sites such as www.MemorialShootingCenter.com can help you figure out how to get started.

The Range
In order to become the deadeye you’ve always wanted to be, you’ll need a safe space where you can practice your shooting. Many shooting enthusiasts choose to do their target practice at an indoor range, where conditions can be controlled more effectively. Indoor shooting ranges usually feature climate control, so you can practice your shooting without having to wear a bulky winter coat or gloves. In fact, many indoor shooting ranges will also feature a state-of-the-art HEPA filtration system, which can clear away the acrid odor of singed bullet casing and keep the air free of gun smoke. In addition to a regular shooting area, complete with lanes and targets, many indoor ranges feature an amenity known as a shoot house. The shoot house is a place where you can practice using your weapon in an environment akin to your home, in preparation against home invasions. If you’re looking to become a truly great shot, or even if you’re just trying to brush up on your skills with firearms, an indoor range might be the place for you.

The Store
While you’re visiting the range, you may see a piece of equipment that you decide you want for yourself. Fortunately, many indoor gun ranges also have retail outlets where you can acquire all kinds of accessories for your firearm. This includes holsters, special belts designed specifically for a concealed carry, and cleaning kits. Of course, you’ll also be able to purchase ammo at one of these stores as well. If you don’t know what exactly you’re looking for, many ranges have websites such as www.MemorialShootingCenter.com, which you can peruse for the different items you might need. Whether you’re a novice shooter or an expert with firearms, visiting an indoor range can provide you with the community and the resource knowledge you need.

Steamed Semi-Ripe Plantain Using the #HamiltonBeach #Steamer

Back home, one of my favorite filling snacks is "SIOPAO with Red Bean Filling". It is a steamed bread bun normally filled with meat (pork or chicken) as well as vegetables and sweet filling. I can buy Siopao in the Asian Store but, I seldom find the red bean filling. I challenge myself to make a Siopao at home so; I bought this Hamilton Beach steamer. I love this steamer, my super helper!

Steamed Semi-Ripe Plantain is another favorite snacks of mine and because of this steamer, I was able to enjoy eating "nilung-ag nga saging"  :-) though, I used the steamer instead of having it cook inside the pan of boiling water. I don't like to see a cracked peeling so; a steamer will do the trick and it was perfectly cooked. Try it!

Here it is. When the plantain was ready, I strip and throw the peeling, and sliced the plantain into bite size. I have a spicy and salted shrimp fry, a perfect dip for my plantain.

Oh, I was thinking of making this now. Let me check if I have plantain in the pantry. Oh my goodness, my hungry tummy is excited! I will see you tomorrow. Feel free to check my other food adventure. Thanks for stopping by.

I Love NY Pizza

Last Tuesday, we went to Orlando to meet a client at lunch time. She wanted to eat pizza so; we meet nearby her office. She loves this place.

I Love NY Pizza
 6607 S Semoran Blvd
Orlando, FL 32822
407-730-9908

Hubby and I will be heading to Cheesecake Factory at Millennia Mall so; at that time, each one of us only ordered a piece of pizza and a drink.. Since I am not a pizza lover, this is really good for me coz I ate it all.

The place is clean and the walls have photos of bands. I don't recognize some of them though. The ambiance is really good. It seems that we were in Italy with the music on the background (wink).

This is the entrance of I Love NY Pizza.

Anyway, would I recommend this place? Of course! Hubby enjoyed our pizza and the place is clean, that is good enough for me.

Best Guitar Brand

I have a guitar given to me by my husband about three years ago but, I seldom play with it. I played few times then, the #4 string broke. I was planning to buy the string but my bad, I keep forgetting every time I was in the mall. Or, maybe I am not inspired to play because there was no one around to enjoy the music with. Back home, my friends and I love to play the guitar all the time. One strum and everyone will start singing a harmony and I missed that moment.

My guitar is similar to gibson les paul junior ebony though, this one is truly gorgeous. Mine look so simple but, the sound is excellent after all, the maker is the best guitar brand around. Tomorrow, hubby and I will be going to the mall to buy the string and that is the only reason why we will be going there. I do not think I will forget it this time.
