Screen Printing Unique T-Shirts for Your Event

Having a t-shirt to commemorate an event is a fun way to go back and remember who was there and what happened. Whether it is a charity fundraiser, a family reunion, or an annual company barbeque, screen printing a unique t-shirt is always a great souvenir. Luckily, there are many different companies, available both in person and online, that specialize in just that. Some offer pre-made designs that you can choose from and personalize with names and dates, and others help you create a design all your own. Whichever direction you choose, it is important to keep a few things in mind.

Order Size

Order size references two aspects that are key to ordering personalized t-shirts. First, be sure to order enough of each size. This can be accomplished by keeping in mind who may be attending the event and even asking those that have stated they will be joining to volunteer what size t-shirt they may prefer. Make sure to order a few extras of each size as to not leave anyone out. Second, don’t order too many or too few t-shirts. Too few will lead to hurt feelings and too many will leave you with extra boxes of unused t-shirts in your living room awaiting a trip to the local Goodwill.

Shirt Design

The shirt design is the most important part of your order for two reasons. First, a poor design with misspelled words will be remembered forever. This is especially true if everyone knows that it’s you who made the order. The same can be said in the opposite direction as well too. A great design will make it so people are more than happy to keep their fun souvenir and maybe even wear it later, leading to appreciation for your brilliant idea. Second, screen printing a t-shirt with a design that is improperly placed can ruin a design all together. Remember, t-shirts are meant to be worn on people who are three-dimensional. In the end, a memorable shirt design will not make or break an event. However, it will help people to remember the event overall.
