Camote-Cue

Camote-cue is a popular snack in the Philippines as well as Banana Fritter and Banana-cue. The latter is my favorite but, it's so hard to make the right Filipino taste because I can't find the right ingredients to make a good banana-cue. Not in Orlando though. Here, we have "plantain" and there is no "saging na saba" and it taste different too :-) Or, could it be a problem with my taste buds? I really don't know! With camote-cue, thank God for the State of Idaho for producing sweet potatoes. Tadaaaa!
I can now satisfy my craving! Let's Chow everyone!

Pork Stir Fry

My hubby loves this food and he calls it stir fry. My ingredients include pork, chopped onions, green and red bell peppers, salt to taste/magic sarap, and Datu Puti soy sauce.

If you are the cook for your family then, by just looking at this picture, you already know how to "merge" them. Bam! Bam! That's Emeril's shoutout! LOL! Just showing the pic, I am not a cook though.

Cheesecake Sampler

Hubby and I went to BJ's which is our favorite store. This is the only place where I can buy chocolates in a pack at an affordable price. I went to the bakery and found this cheesecake sampler. I wanted to eat a cheesecake and looking at this layered sampler, who can resist?

I know that it would take few days to eat this cheesecake knowing that it's only us that will consume this foodie. Oh, how I wish my family is here with me so they can devour all of this cake:-)
