#ChickenMcNuggets Using #ArchCard From McDonalds

I was very happy to receive my perk, a McDonalds arch card worth $5 sent to me through #Klout. Now, I was given a free sample because I'm a #Klout influencer but, I am under no obligation to talk about #McDonalds product.
I am a big fan of McDonalds and I love their fries and crunchy chicken. Last week, I finally able to try the McDonald's Chicken McNuggets using the arch card. I was ready to #CelebrateWithABite .

Receiving the perk was exciting and though it was only $5, it was enough to buy the Chicken McNuggets. It was my first bite and I dunk it with the new Habanero Ranch Sauce which I love. Okay, it was too hot for me hehehe but, I like it because I love spicy food. I used a little bit just to blend the taste to the Chicken Mcnuggets.

Honestly, I am not a big fan of Chicken Mcnuggets because, I can taste the batter more than the chicken. It was not bad but, I am not a big fan. I want to eat chicken nuggets that I can bite the chicken meat more.

I used the entire amount of my arch card for the McNuggets and added few cents for the tax. It was a good deal for a dinner of two. I was pretty happy and yes, I ate all my Chicken McNuggets share. Thank goodness with the Habanero Ranch Sauce, I was able to appreciate the taste of chicken McNuggets.

Have you tried Chicken McNuggets yet? Try it and let me know okay? Thanks for stopping by. I will see you tomorrow on my next post right? See yah.

I am Enjoying this Rich and Creamy #GuyLian #Chocolates

How's your Sunday everyone? I bet you are having a wonderful day today huh? So far, mine is good. I woke up at 7 AM and was in a hurry to go to church for 8 AM mass. Hubby and I arrived on time, no traffic thanks goodness. We saw familiar faces at church today though, our regular seats was taken, but it was alright. The homily was good and after the mass, we went to have donuts and coffee to socialize with other parishioners. We had a great time talking about politics and you wouldn't be interested to listen what was it all about hehehe...
Homebound, hubby said he wanted to relax and watch the golf tournament on TV. I wanted to go to the beach but, it's a bit windy and chilly here in Florida so; I told him that I will just update my blog and hopefully will be able to update for the whole week in advance as well.

Right now, I am trying to update and scheduled some posts while eating this yummy treats from GuyLian. Honestly, I don't have "sweet-tooth" but, I devoured this chocolate for days now. I will be reviewing this delicious chocolate next week and I am going to share this to all of you in the giveaway post too. I can't wait!
Let me go ahead and finish this box. Want some? Have a great Sunday and thanks for stopping by. Mwahhh!

On the day that I received this product, I was curious with the taste. I like brownies but, a brownie brittle? It's new to me. Oh yeah, the crunch and the brownie tastes perfect! This brownie brittle melts inside my mouth. Oh my goodness, it tastes really good. Too bad that they sent only one bag. I can't get enough of it. I wish they will send more next time.

Port Canaveral Restaurants: Rusty's Seafood and Oyster Bar

How often do you go to a restaurant? We really don't set a day for it. We go when we feel like it. Here in the space coast, fine dining locations are plenty to choose from. If you are looking for that great ambiance, amazing view by the beach, pleasant service, affordable price and delicious gourmet food, there are numerous places to check out in Port Canaveral and Cocoa Beach area. For now, let's check out:

Rusty's Seafood and Oyster's Bar
628 Glen Cheek Dr, Cape Canaveral, FL 32920
Phone:(321) 783-2033

When I pick a side order, I go for rice. In Rusty's, they have what they called Seasoned Rice. This is tasty and flavorful and it's only $1.99 if ordered separately. With my chosen meal, the seasoned rice comes with it.

The onion rings is $4.99 per order but, for my meal, it's free as well. This is delicious and for every bite of crunchiness, my appetite satisfaction has been fully nourished. How's that for my simple craving? LOL.

Here is the not-so-fun part of my dining experience. On this particular visit, my steak is well-done. When it comes to meat, I like it "well-done" so; this steak in the picture is burnt hehehe. When my server came back and asked me how's my steak, I smiled and I said, it's burnt and it's tough. He said sorry and never replaced it. I did not complain anyway. Steak is one of my favorites in Rusty's and all the time, it's great. On this day, it didn't pass my "taste-bud's-test-taste". It doesn't mean that I don't like Rusty's anymore. I still recommend that you should try Rusty's because this restaurant is my favorite.

My husband loves mussels so he ordered mussels with classic garlic wine sauce. Oh he loves seafood. He loves raw oysters too. I can't eat raw hehehe.
Look at the ambiance where we were seated as we dine. They have an air-conditioned room but, we prefer to listen to the live music outdoor. Besides, it was a gorgeous day and we were waiting for the Disney cruise which will be passing by the restaurant at that time.

Here, take a look at the photo I took on the side. At Rusty's Seafood and Oyster Bar, you will not only enjoy a good meal but, a relaxing view as well. Please visit the Space Coast and check out Port Canaveral Area. Thanks for stopping by.

Mango for Snacking

Okay, we went to #Aldie today and I was so glad that the mango is only $1.19, way better than $1.99 price right? I bought 3 and I can't contain myself from eating one when we arrived home. I also bought plantain for snacks later. It's been a long time that I bake a cake. I am not too fond of sweets and that probably hinders my enthusiasm to bake a cake.

Anyway, for now I am savouring the taste of this semi-ripe mango. Oh so good ... really! The taste is sweet and there's a bit of crunch to it in every bite. You will get this texture if you pick a semi-ripe mango. The green and un-ripe is not sweet at all and all you will get is the sour taste. This is good because the combination is perfect and it will just explode in your mouth hahaha sweet and sour combo. You will know what I mean if you are drooling right now and craving for mangoes LOL. Anyway, thanks for stopping by in my blog. Enjoy your day.

Steamed Plantain for Snacks

When I wanted to eat Filipino food, I go for ways to satisfy my cravings. Today, I wanted to eat banana with bagoong dip. Well, I have the bagoong which I bought from the Filipino store but, the type of banana that I was looking for is scarce here in Florida so; plantain is the alternative. Thanks to my Hamilton Beach steamer, the prep is so easy. I usually set it to 30 to 40 minutes, depending as to quantity of plantain that I wanted to cook. Oh, this steamed banana fills me up. It is my snack and I think I will have a late lunch later. What is your favorite snack?

Foot Problems Connected with Diabetes

Many people aren’t aware of the many symptoms and side effects that come with diabetes. Not only do they have to worry about their insulin and sugar levels, but there are many different things that can happen to other parts of their body that can make life even more difficult. In fact, some symptoms even have a formal name to them, like the diabetic foot. Those who have too much sugar in their blood stream for an extended period of time can experience serious complications in their feet.

Diabetic neuropathy is when you begin to lose feeling in your feet. The nerves are damaged from diabetes and you can lose all sensation of heat, cold, and pain. If you have diabetic neuropathy and get a cut on your foot, you won’t even feel it and infection can set in pretty quickly. The muscles that are connected with the nerves in your foot may not function properly. Foot ulcers can also occur in those who have nerve damage in their feet.

The flow of your blood is affected when you have diabetes. When your body doesn’t have good blood flow, it will take much longer for any cuts or sores to heal. When the blood flow is poor in your legs and arms, it is called peripheral vascular disease. This circulation disorder affects the blood vessels that are away from the heart. Ulcers can also occur if you have an infection that won’t heal due to poor blood flow.

Along with the diabetic foot there are many other foot problems that can occur from diabetes. Athlete’s foot consists of a fungus that causes redness, cracking, and itching. Germs can get into those cracks and cause infections in your skin. Your toenails can also become infected with a fungal infection. The toenails can become thick and brittle, discolored, and even separate from the rest of the toenail. Calluses are another common problem in which a build-up of hard skin begins on your foot. Usually on the bottom of your foot, calluses can be formed from uneven weight distribution, improperly fitting shoes, or a skin abnormality.

Oh so Yummy Mango

Oh my goodness, this mango is so good. I bought this mango for $1.99 and since it was expensive, I bought one. The price could go down to .99 cents so; I will be back in few days for sure. After I ate the last slice, I wanted to eat more huhuhu.

This mango is truly delicious. I used the soy sauce with a bit of sugar and vinegar dip, added a kick of chili in it too. This is my favorite snacks back home. On summer time, mangoes are so affordable. How about you? Do you like mangoes?

My Hearty Lunch

I woke up late so I decided to have brunch. My husband finds my combo food selection as weird hahaha. I have yet to cook my steamed rice so; since I have a macaroni salad, that will be perfect for my porkchop while waiting for my rice to cook. Oh my goodness, this fills me up.

What's yours?

I Love my #HamiltonBeach #Steamer

I bought this steamer few months ago for the purpose of making #Siopao, a steamed bun. Well, after all this time, my Siopao-making "goal" has not been accomplished .... yet. Oh it's a long story as to why but, I found out that my steamer is truly useful in my kitchen. My rice cooker quit working so; I am using my steamer to cook rice now. I don't really need to buy a new one.

I used the steamer in making leche flan too. In the photo above, that's steamed potatoes so; instead of baking them which takes a long time, I used the steamer. It saves a lot of time and tastes better too. If you want to buy this product, you may check it out in Belk, Kohl's and Walmart. Make sure to compare the price for great savings. Thanks for visiting my blog. Have a great Monday.

Type of Music Preference

The type of #music that we have today is evolving to a higher level in so many aspects. It may not be favorable to people who loves the good ole music but, let's face it, we have a new generation who prefers rap music than classical ones. I do listen to #classicalmusic. Let's face the truth that classical music is well-loved by many up to this time because it is remarkably complex and the quality is unequal. Classical music is meant to last forever.
I do listen to instrumental guitar music too. It soothes my soul and calms me down. But, in this generation where technology is extremely important, making music with the help of musical gadgets is needed such as Electro-Harmonix Pedals. It is a tone wicker and if the young music lover wanted to create distortion and tonal abilities, simple switch of the button will create another dimension of musical creation. Could it be music or Noise? It all depends to the individual listener. For all I know, young generation appreciate this type of music. What type of music do you prefer then?

Baking a #MardiGras King Cake

Yayy! I was able to bake King Cake successfully using the recipe of the video below. I was looking at so many recipes but, I decided to use PartyTimeBatonRouge's recipe because from the name itself, she is from Louisiana (assuming hehehe) . Who could go wrong when it comes to taste and cooking prowess from the people in this place eh? Check the video to know the ingredients and even if you are not a pro baker, you can follow her instructions easy.
I was really excited while baking this King Cake. I was in the mood for Mardi Gras hehehe. The dough tastes good. The King Cake is supposed to be festive and sweet so; since I have "tons" of beads, I decorated my KIng Cake with beads around it. Sweet? Not too sweet for me because I lessen the sugar.
The king cakes below are just throw back pics which I found in one of my folders. We bought the cake from Rouse's, a grocery store which is popular in Mississippi. As you can see, there's a plastic baby at the middle and of course, the beads on the side to reflect Mardi Gras.
On my next King Cake, I want to use chunks of cheese as filling, making it a cheese bread. I will try to braid it too and add yellow and lavender colors. Anyway, I hope your Fat Tuesday celebration turns out fun with family and friends. It's Ash Wednesday today so; if you are a Catholic, visit the church and let us do our obligation today. Are you ready for Lent Season? I am.
For main ingredients : flour, eggs, yeast, milk, sugar, cinnamon, and butter. For the measurements and procedure, refer to the video.

That's all for now friends and thank you for visiting my blog always. Have a great day today.

Trying to Bake a King Cake

Here in the Space Coast, it will be hard to find King Cakes so; I decided that tomorrow, I will bake my first ever king cake. I am not sure if I can add the little baby but, I will try my best to make it look like a king cake. Right now, I am looking for recipes. Do you have any suggestion? Wish me luck!
