Olive Garden Near Florida Mall

Hungry? Do you crave for an Italian food? Olive Garden is the best place to visit and you will definitely satisfy your taste buds craze for soups, salads and breadsticks. They make their own salad dressings and that's why their salad tastes better. This is my favorite refreshing fruit drink, the Berry Acqua Fresca with strawberry, blackberry and raspberry purée and mixed with acai berry and sparkling water, topped with fresh berries. They have variety of soups, salads and breadsticks which you can try as much as you want (unlimited) for $6.95. Honestly, I can only have two bowls max and my favorite is Chicken & Gnocchi which is a creamy soup made with roasted chicken, traditional Italian dumplings and spinach. The picture below is Zuppa Toscana which is a spicy sausage (yummy), russet potatoes and cavolo greens in a creamy broth. If it's creamy, I love it. Why settle for a soda when you can have a healthy beverage such as Strawberry-Mango Limonata or bella lemonata? This is Chicken Parmigiana with parmesan-breaded chicken breast, fried and topped with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese and it is served with spaghetti. If it is dinner time, the portion is even bigger and if you are famish, go ahead and order. If you want to bring home an Olive Garden salad at home, buy the dressing instead. It's less than $6 a bottle. The Olive Garden in Florida Mall is my favorite location because the servers are more friendly and polite. If you happen to visit Orlando and shop at Florida Mall, check out this address:

Running a Business

Thanks for the guest post by Esteban Vinson:

When you’re running your own business, there are tons of things you need to worry about every day. You have to choose the right chairs for your lobby, you need to choose the correct vendors for all of your needs, and you have to select the right employees to represent your brand well. One thing that’s an easy choice to make is direct tv for businesses. You can sign up in minutes, and set up a television in your lobby to keep your clients entertained while they’re waiting to meet with you. Whether you’re a doctor or a business service provider, it’s a total no brainer. You can make a quick phone call and have the service set up in minutes. It’s one less thing you have to worry about, because you definitely already have enough to stress out over on a daily basis. You can choose to have your television set to everyone’s favorite sitcom rerun or a music channel. The bottom line is that having something in your lobby to keep guests entertained will set them up perfectly for your successful meeting. Give them a call.

Commonly Misused Words

We are not perfect therefore; it is not unusual that we misused some words at certain times. I have a friend who cannot forget someone who uses the word "prepare" instead of "prefer". It was an awkward moment and that person became the target for mockery without his knowledge. It is really hard to stop my friend for doing such thing because he thought it is too funny. I feel bad about it. How would you stop him if he is your friend?

The Brooklyn Pizza

I am not a pizza lover but, the Brooklyn Pizza which is located along Pershing Avenue in Orlando is totally the best. The thin crust is tasty and delicious and I can eat three slices especially when I am craving for pizza.Though I prefer rice, seafood and red meat for regular meals, I can substitute a lunch meal with a Brooklyn pizza. This is not a big restaurant in fact, their business has more take out orders than regular diners (as what I observed).Their pizzas are made fresh so; it is best to order it ahead of time.If you are in Orlando, you may check it out in this address: 5681 Pershing Avenue Orlando, FL 32822-3838 or call them at (407) 282-0110.

Lawsuits in the US

Do you watch the news on TV every day? Well, I do and I also read the local newspaper as well as check the online news. Think about it, seemingly everyone is suing everyone nowadays and that is no joke. From personal injury to piracy cases, group action, environmental lawsuits to civil lawsuits and more. As to the number of lawsuits filed in the court, it is just enormous to comprehend. Check out the graph below:

The Big Event

Our favorite niece will be wed tomorrow and so, we drove all the way from Orlando to Alabama today. Everything here is truly beautiful and I love the flower arrangements that they have during the dress rehearsal. There was a small gathering for family during dinner and I noticed the design of the table skirts that the catering services have for the couple. It was beautiful and elegant but, there will be more to see on the big day. The decor today is just a facade for the wedding event tomorrow.

Anyway, as we check in the hotel, the VIP room was fully occupied by a company who were having a Christmas party. They have digital banner stands at the entrance showing the name of the company and some pictures of the people behind the company's success. It was truly attractive, elegant and the banner stand has full of information.

The stage has a colored red backdrop drapery with sturdy Pipe and Drape. Honestly, I just look at the area as I walk towards our room. The arrangement is so tidy but, friendly and elegant as well. It truly deserves a second look and I am excited for the big event tomorrow.

Good Food in the Buffet

Sometimes, I Mississippi and I miss my father-in-law which is too bad because heaven is too far away right? Hubby and I live with him for 18 months and during those times the three of us would dine out every day. He loves fine dining but, hubby and I loves buffet in the casinos. In Biloxi, there are 9 casinos and I work in one of the stablishments too. At workplace, our food is free and we can eat just anything which you can't find that in Orlando. Anyway, since I work at graveyard shift I got out from work at 7AM, hubby will pick me up and we will eat out in other casinos for breakfast. The prices there are unbelievable and the food is really great. My father-in-law is asleep so when we come home, hubby will fix his breakfast and I will sleep for the day. They will wake me up for lunch and we will go out to a fine dining restaurant.
Then, when we go home, I would go back to sleep and some other days I can only take a nap and get ready for school. Sometimes, they pick me up at school and we go for dinner. Then, take a nap again and go to work by 10:30 in the evening.
We seldom cook food at home and he loves Chinese food but, doesn't eat rice.
Anyway, his appetite is good when we dine out. At home, he only wants soups and crackers.
Anyway, these pictures were taken in the buffet of Hard Rock. The crablegs on this plate are thin LOL but most of the time, it's not. For less than $10 in a buffet, it sure is a good deal.
Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays are the most crowded days in Hard Rock but, about three months ago when we go there, it's not.
Visit Biloxi during Mardi Gras Season either January or February. You will love the activities here!

Delicious Food

I love Tony Roma's Restaurant at South Semoran Blvd which is nearby the airport. The ambiance in this location is great plus the servers are knowledgeable of the menus. We tried asking them about their signature steaks and they explain it very well. We always have a beautiful dining experience at Tony Roma's. Oh, try their Baked Potato Soup which is topped with grated cheddar cheese, bacon and chives. It is very delicious. This menu is from Columbia Restaurant in Saint Petersburg, Florida. This is Chicken and Yellow Rice, one quarter of chicken baked with yellow rice, green peppers, onions, tomatoes, spices and virgin olive oil. It taste good but, the portion they served was really HUGE! If the guest is famish, this is the good menu to order, LOL. I also ordered the croquetas de pollo which is good but, I love the croquetas of my granny though. This is my first visit and I enjoyed the meal. I will definitely dine in the Columbia Restaurant and I might pay a visit in the Celebration area. This plate is from IKEA Restaurant and served for breakfast. In less than $3, you can shop the IKEA store and never gets hungry for more. This is Eggplant Riojana from Columbia Restaurant which is my hubby's favorite food. It is a sliced eggplant breaded with ground plantain crumbs with rich Rioja sauce of tomatoes, garlic, capers, olives and red wine topped with melted Galician Tetilla cheese.
It is always nice to eat at home and prepare a homemade recipe. My husband loves to cook in fact; he was a cook when he was working in the Army. This is one of my favorite meals: a baked a garlic porkchop and creamy pasta with mushrooms.
Let's Chow! Do not forget to exercise LOL! You need to burn the calories! Merry Christmas Everyone!

Panera Bread in Florida Mall

After shopping at Florida Mall, I was hungry for a Panera Bread meal. Hubby and I went there for lunch and I ordered the Smoked Ham and Swiss. Panera Bread baked their own bread and this cafe sandwich is a healthy food. A Fresh bread with 96% fat-free smoked ham, Swiss cheese, leaf lettuce, tomatoes and red onions. I choose the Pick-Two meal so this is only a half sandwich which is really affordable. My meal won't be complete without my favorite pastries. This is Bear Claw which is made with an almond filling and drizzled with icing and sliced almonds. In Pick-Two menu, I can choose a sandwich and a soup. The picture below is a one of the signature soups and stews of Panera Bread. The soup is served with freshly baked bread and this is called the all-natural Sonoma Chicken Stew. Swimming in the stew is actually the dry Jack cheese biscuit and Sonoma Chicken Stew is the latest addition of Panera Bread's signature soups. The creamy chicken stew with Parisian carrots, peas, leeks and diced red potatoes taste really good and delicious. This soup is simmered with sweet cream and thyme.
Check out Panera Bread in your neighborhood. I am sure you will like their bread and pastries in the Bakery as well as their delicious food in the Cafe.

Breakfast at Cracker Barrel

Hi Everyone! Lately, I have been procrastinating with my blog updates because I was busy with some important errands. I am trying to keep up and for now, I would like to share my trip to Cracker Barrel, the old country store and restaurant. Our favorite Cracker Barrel location is somewhere along South Semoran Blvd near the airport. I have no complains with the servers in this place. Their service is excellent!Every 8 AM on a Sunday, attending the mass is our routine. We decided to have a breakfast at Cracker Barrel and I ordered Yogurt Parfait with fresh pineapple topped with Honey Oat Granola mix of Almonds and Dried Fruit. I also have Wild Maine Blueberry Muffin, sunny side up eggs and a smoked sausage. This place is always busy in fact some people have to wait to be seated. We arrived on time before the rush for breakfast. I love the cozy ambiance inside Cracker Barrel because it feels like home in a country setting. After the meal, I always love to check on their store. I might buy me a Nativity Set because it's already 25% off. Maybe next Sunday, it will be 50% off with finger crossed. Anyway, check out the Cracker Barrel store and restaurant in your area. You will find the hard to find candies and goodies that you had when you were just a child. Most of all, the place would remind you of grannies place.

Crossroads Restaurant in Titusville

Whenever we want to eat fresh seafoods, we go to Crossroads Restaurant in Titusville. This is a family owned company and has been serving the community for so long now. Diners come here for good food and orders the shrimp that tastes like lobsters. These are turtles that they keep in the pond. They have a good size pond located at the entrance of the restaurant.
The whole area of the restaurant has shrimps statues like this welcoming the guests.
This is the entrance with long sitting area.
If you visit NASA at Port Canaveral, check out this place because it is not that far.
