Chewy Fudge Brownies

Today, hubby requested that I should bake brownies. I was thinking its not bad to give him a little bit of sweet tooth cravings after all, he gave up chocolates during lent season. Whoaaaa! That's right LOL! As a treat, I bake the chewy fudge brownies from my favorite brand, Duncan Hines.

If you think this is hard to bake ... no ma'am and no sir! Of course, I did not make this from scratch. As I told you, Duncan Hines do the wonders. You can buy this product in all the grocery stores so; making brownies is a no-brainer.

Here are the ingredients:

1 pouch of Duncan Hines Brownie Mix
1/4 cup of water
2 large eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil.

 - Preheat oven to 350F. Grease the bottom of the pan with a cooking spray.
 - On a mixing bowl, mix the brownie mix, eggs, oil and water. Stir until the ingredients are mix together.
 - Put the mixture on the pan and bake.
 - Brownies are done when the toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Try this brand and I can assure you, you will love it. Thanks for stopping by.

BoneFish Grill on Merritt Island Florida

It was Friday before heading to the movie theater to watch the Oz, hubby and I wanted to dine at Bonefish Grill located in 795 E Merritt Island Causeway Merritt Island, FL 32952. We were amazed to see that the great restaurant was crowded and there was a 25 minutes queue. The movie will start in less than 40 minutes so, we decided to come back by Tuesday.

Why Tuesday? It was hubby's birthday and he doesn't want me to tell the server that it was his special day, avoiding the birthday greetings of the resto (wink). Anyway, we choose to sit nearby the bar. I ordered the  Singapore Calamari for I was not too hungry that day. The calamari was good and I like the red and green peppers in it and the sauce is Asian spicy.

Hubby ordered the Rainbow Trout with lemon butter sauce. The photo below is the Bonefish bread with olive oil dip.

Our dining experience was great for we have a knowledgeable server, food was served hot and the ambiance was excellent. We spent $42 for dinner, all inclusive with tip and tax. We plan to visit again on a Friday.

This Singapore Calamari serving is good for 2.

If you happen to be in Merritt Island and looking for a place to dine in, I highly recommend Bonefish Grill. I suggest that you order the Grilled Fish and choose the warm mango salsa sauce.

The Bonefish Grill is near the mall so; if you are shopping and wanted to have a fine dining, check out Bonefish Grill. You will surely enjoy your food and the ambiance of the place. Thanks for stopping by. Please check my latest post today.

Wholesale Printing at Great Price

Hubby and I went to see a client in a nearby restaurant today. We have a Notary Business and it's doing alright for this time of year in fact, we got few phone calls from new clients this week. We always give out business cards when we have acquaintances on a daily basis. We also use business letterhead in every communication that we do, a way to advertise the business you know.
Speaking of Letterhead, my husband was looking for a wholesale printing company earlier for we need to order a new set. Thank goodness that he found a reasonable price for all his orders. He added a few graphic on the letterhead to make it attractive and appropriate as a notary business. He was a happy camper!

Eat Smart: Vegetable Stir Fry at Publix

#Publix is one store that is very accessible to us in fact, it is just a walking distance from our home. The prices compared to #Wal-Mart is a bit higher but, if you know how to use coupons and avail their on sale items, you will be surprise to find an 80% discount compared to Wal-Mart. Here's how it works, check out their BOGO (buy-one-get-one) items and find coupons thru online or from the newspaper. When you pay at the counter,  you can only expect great savings. That is the reason I patronized Publix for years. Anyway, here's another good saving tip that I love to share. Check out the photo below if you are looking for a healthy diet:
 photo EatSmart_zps70f1db11.jpg
Prices of fresh vegetables are a little bit high at Publix so; I did go to Aldi or Walmart for that. I still recommend that you should check out the vegetable area at Publix because they have this pack of vegies for only $1. Yes, you read it right! A dollar and it can serve 4 members in the family.  I tried Vegetable Stir Fry but, there are other varieties in there. If you have Publix in your area, check this item. I only find this in Publix. It taste as good as when you buy fresh vegetables.

Of course, the spices can add the good taste to it. I do not microwave it. Sautee the onion, garlic, add soy sauce or knorr cube or a dash of salt (choose one ),  add left-over chicken or pork or any meat will do then, add the vegies, add 2 cups of water (depending how much sauce you like), cover until the vegies are tender and cook. Enjoy!

Delicious Dinner in Olive Garden at the Millenia Mall

The other day, we went to Orlando to dine at Cheesecake Factory. When we were in the Mall of Millenia area, we had circled countless times and we never found the building of Cheesecake Factory. Since we were so famished, we decided to dine instead at Olive Garden. Well, that's not hard to do because I was all set for my Chicken and Gnocchi soup and bread sticks. This is what I ordered and since I love fettuccine pasta in a cream sauce, I truly enjoyed my plate. I can't believe that I devour this big portion of delicious pollo and pasta. This plate of food simply satisfies my palate and the taste is simply heaven.

When hubby asked the receptionist about the location of Cheesecake Factory, he was told that the restaurant is located inside the mall. The GPS provided a miscalculated route. Funny! Anyway, here's what hubby ordered, a good portion of seafood lasagna with scallop and shrimp in it and the cheese is really yummy. I would definitely recommend these two when you visit Olive Garden. The food is worth every penny you spend.

Hubby and I had a wonderful dinner and we only spent $40 with tip. We tried the $25 special which consists of one starter/dessert to share, 2 entrees' plus unlimited salads/soups and bread-sticks.

I have my soup to go for I wanted to enjoy the main dish. Hubby and I were full and happy (wink). The server and everyone is great. The ambiance is relaxing, clean, and we had the booth which we love to sit on.

If you happen to be shopping along Millenia Mall, you will not miss the building of Olive Garden for it is located along Millenia Mall at 4101 Conroy Road, Orlando, FL 32839 and if you want to call for direction, call: (407) 345-8331.

Now, I am hungry for their sampler ...hmmm. :-) Don't forget to check out those yummy food plates at Olive Garden in your area.
