Using Whitney Farms Make my Gardening Easy

This post brought to you by Whitney Farms. All opinions are 100% mine.

I am very excited with our move since we are moving to a 3-bedroom house from a 2-bedroom condo. It is really different this time because we have a huge yard. I can now have a garden planted on the soil and not in pots anymore and it makes my gardening so easy.

My husband prefers a vegetable garden. He has a green thumb for that. He planted vegetable plants in the pots when we live in the condo. The vegetables grow healthy especially when he added Whitney Farms® product a month ago and the plants love it because it is an organic plant food.

His father loves gardening and when we lived with him in Mississippi, he introduced Whitney Farms products to us. I must say, his flower garden was full of blooming roses and huge flowers too. The picture below is the tomatoes in pots from the garden of my husband.

I get excited knowing that soon, hubby will have a big space for his vegetable garden and I can landscape the front yard. I can also plant some perennial flower garden too. If you are planning to do some gardening, use an organic soil from Whitney Farms products. It is very easy to apply and you will not smell foul odors from manure. Click the link now and enjoy a $3 coupon when you purchase a bag of Whitney Farms. Have fun gardening.  Advertisement

Yummy Foodies for Breakfast Eh

My husband said, I have weird eating choices. When I wanted to eat french fries with lots of cheese and corned beef, I can eat it anytime of the day for so many days. Breakfast? Oh yeah! But, when I am done with it, I won't eat it for the rest of the year... weird huh! This is my typical breakfast. I can live with this too. But, I can't eat it every single day. I would rather have a steamed rice and salted fish every day than have this. Again, my hubby said I am weird because I eat rice every meal LOL. Filipinos eat rice for breakfast, lunch and dinner LOL and they only eat on occasion. Here is a snack for me but, for Americans, this is lunch.Cereals, juice and milk, not my kind a breakfast but, I can eat it sometimes.I like Cheerios brand with Honey. I can drink milk but, should be full cream. I can drink juice but should be sweet and not sour. Anyway, I am not picky on food. I eat what my taste buds dictate. If I like the taste, I can eat it everyday until I am over it. I guess I am weird LOL.

Seafood Restaurant and Oyster's Bar at Cape Canaveral

In my entire life, I only know one person who do not eat seafood and she had her own reasons for that. For everyone of us who loves seafood, let's enjoy the good time eating a hearty seafood meal right? If you are looking for a seafood restaurant and oyster's bar at Cape Canaveral, I would recommend that you should check out Rusty's.These photos were taken at Rusty's. The ambiance is like Rustic and when you dine inside, the restaurant design is Industrial but, it's really nice and cool. If you love to see the outdoors then, you should go to the deck side.If you are cruising and your Port of call is Port Canaveral, you will see Rusty's from your ship deck. Rusty's seafood restaurant must be inviting because tourists came here to eat before they sail to their destination. The prices are affordable and if you asked me, I love their bacon wrapped scallops and I would definitely recommend it. My husband loves mussels in garlic butter sauce and raw oysters too.Sit by deck so; you can see the ship sail away plus, the view by the deck is AWESOME! Check it out...just sharing you my favorite restaurant in the area. See you there?

Pillsbury Crescent Rolls

Pillsbury is one of my favorite food brands. For me, the fastest preparation to have a hot roll on the table is bake a can of Pillsbury crescent. I added a cheese filling and hot dogs. This crescent saves my breakfast. I also like the Pillsbury strawberry strudel and the cinnamon roll. Check it out in the frozen breakfast section in your local supermarket.

Having Lunch at Red Lobster Restaurant

Craving for seafoods? Check out Red Lobster this season for they have the Lobsterfest specials. My plate has rice pillaf, garlic shrimp scampi, golden-fried catfish and scallops. My favorite alcoholic drink is Bahama Mama. It is a frozen blend of tropical fruit flavors mixed with Captain Morgan which is an original spiced rum with a splash of Myers’s dark rum. This is cheese biscuit which they always served before your orders come and it's unlimited. It's good to eat fresh and hot.Usually, I cannot finish this glass alone so; I always share it to my husband.Salad sometimes come as a side from the menu that you choose. Buffet at Harrah's Hotel in New Orleans

My husband and I love the buffet and we travel nearby cities just to explore what they offer for their guests. These are my food plates while we were in HARRAH's Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana. It's about an hour drive from where we live in Mississippi.
Harrah's Hotel and casino is located just walking distance from the French Quarter, shopping centers, Superdome, and Mississippi River. Harrah's hotel has 26 storey building, 450 huge and luxury guests rooms and suites. We actually stayed in another hotel just accross the street and came here for food trip.

They have so many variety but since I miss Filipino foods, I took my time to fill my plate that looks like Filipino yumminess LOL.

Again, when you visit Mississippi and Louisiana they hotels and casinos offer buffet at affordable price. Sometimes, if you are lucky, you will pay 50% off the price.

Did you know how much we pay on this meal? It's $6/person because they have a promotion. It will not lasts whole day though. We are lucky that we went there and they have a promo.

This is my Yummy Sunday entry and thank you for reading my post and for the comment. I will see you in your blogs.

What You Need to Know About Medical Alert Systems

Medical alert systems are very helpful in keeping our elderly safe while they stay at home on their own. These systems are actually security systems that are focused on keeping our beloved senior safe by having a team monitoring them 24 hours a day. These are what our elderly needs in order to continue living in their own home as long as they can.

Today, the advancement of technology allows us to protect and monitor our beloved while they are at home. This is similar to the conventional monitored alarm system that has a security company monitoring the activity of the system. Normally, the security company will install the system in your home. The function of the system is similar to a regular alarm system. It will trigger or send a signal to the monitoring company once it is triggered or activated.

The only difference of medical alert systems to other security alarm systems is the medical emphasis that it puts on a particular person. Instead of the usual remote control that will turn on or off an alarm system, a wearable device is given to a person who needs care or help. These devices are a one-push button that will activate the system and send it to the monitoring team. The monitoring team will send paramedics to the home of the elderly, at the same time inform the contact person of the elderly. The one-push buttons are usually in the form of necklace pendants or wristbands that the elderly can wear while at home.

Today, most people are in favor of getting these systems for their elderly parents. This is because most seniors don't want to stay in a nursing home or assisted facilities. Staying in such places will only make their health and physical well-being deteriorate because they no longer do the things that they do when they are at home.

Medical alert systems are really useful when it comes to making sure that our seniors are safe when they are left alone at home. These systems ultimately give you peace of mind knowing that your elderly parents can get the help that they need in case of emergencies with a push of the button in their pendant or wristband. A team of paramedics will be on their way to your parent's location in case something goes wrong. Meanwhile, you are confident that whatever happens, you will be the first person to be called by the monitoring team.
