#VitaFrute Perks from #Klout

Receiving an awesome cocktail perks from Klout is just an amazing experience. We went to Viera Mall in Melbourne to find #VitaFrute cocktails. Our wine store in this area does not have this product. The owner of the wine store though tried to know about this drink so that he can have a supply for Vita Frute. There you go Vita Frute, I refer you to the wine store in the neighborhood already.

Okay, you know who is the happiest man who tried this cocktail? My husband and he loves it!

Good Places to Dine

I woke up craving for yummy foodies. For two days hubby and I just lounging at home watching TV, grilling at the backyard, doing gardening and facebooking. Oh yeah, social media is just a good place to snoop some interesting stories about friends and of course, we knew that people snooped us too. Well, I downloaded pictures of food most of the time so; people might think I eat a lot! LOL, whatever (*-*) Anyway, here is a picture of good food from Panera Bread: sandwich and soup.

The second photo is one of my favorites in Ruby Tuesday. This is Chicken Trio which is basically tender all-natural chicken breasts done in three ways: fresco, bella, and mango salsa as toppings and served over rice pilaf as one of the sides.

The last photo is super quenching Strawberry Mango Limonata at Olive Garden. I guess today, we need to dine out and watch a movie.

Try these when you visit Panera Bread, Ruby Tuesday and Olive Garden, you will enjoy your meal definitely. See yah and thanks for stopping by.

Strawberry Mango Lemonata at Olive Garden in Florida Mall

About two days ago, we went to Olive Garden at Florida Mall for lunch. Hubby ordered his favorite Eggplant Parmigiana and since I was just thirsty and not that hungry, I ordered a Sampler Italiano appetizer. It is a combination of calamari, stuffed mushrooms, and chicken fingers. Now, this appetizer is meant to be shared but, hubby was already full with his Chicken and Gnnochi soup so; I got half of it in the box. My refreshing strawberry and mango lemonata is a thirst-quenching purée. I do not order soda when I am at Olive Garden because I love the taste of their lemonade. Try it when you come and visit Olive Garden in your area.

Grilled Chicken Caprese at Olive Garden

If you love Italian Food, I suggest that you should check out Olive Garden. I was not so hungry but, I crave for Grilled Chicken Caprese at Olive Garden the other day. I ordered Strawberry-Mango lemonata which is a refreshing strawberry and mango purée. It is mixed with sweet lemonade and sliced strawberries. My grilled chicken caprese is a light meal with mozzarella, sun-dried tomato and basil pesto spread in it. This menu comes with a soup so; I ordered the spicy Zuppa Toscana. It has a spicy sausage, russet potatoes and cavolo greens in a creamy broth. You should try it when you visit Olive Garden. Yummy Foodies for Breakfast Eh

My husband said, I have weird eating choices. When I wanted to eat french fries with lots of cheese and corned beef, I can eat it anytime of the day for so many days. Breakfast? Oh yeah! But, when I am done with it, I won't eat it for the rest of the year... weird huh! This is my typical breakfast. I can live with this too. But, I can't eat it every single day. I would rather have a steamed rice and salted fish every day than have this. Again, my hubby said I am weird because I eat rice every meal LOL. Filipinos eat rice for breakfast, lunch and dinner LOL and they only eat on occasion. Here is a snack for me but, for Americans, this is lunch.Cereals, juice and milk, not my kind a breakfast but, I can eat it sometimes.I like Cheerios brand with Honey. I can drink milk but, should be full cream. I can drink juice but should be sweet and not sour. Anyway, I am not picky on food. I eat what my taste buds dictate. If I like the taste, I can eat it everyday until I am over it. I guess I am weird LOL.

Mc Cafe Hot Chocolate at Mc Donalds

How was your night everyone? Did you have a good sleep after watching the NBA All Star Game or the Oscars? I did not bother to go downtown and watch the NBA stars because I know for sure that crowd will be nasty later on. There was indeed a fight after the game. Anyway, I had a wonderful time watching the OSCARS on TV. I bet you did too. Let's talk about food and drinks now. While we were in Mississippi, hubby and I have our favorite McDonalds location, it's in 1323 Bienville Blvd Ocean Springs, MS 39564. It was a chilly morning so I ordered the Mc cafe Hot Chocolate. I love the creaminess and the aroma of the cocoa, just makes me relax. Here's hubby buying his Mc Cafe coffee. The lady at the counter is a Filipino, I think :-) Thanks for stopping by y'all!

I "Can" Live a Day Without Coffee

Honestly? I seldom drink coffee but when I did, I can only drink two cups and that will not last for many days. Yep! I can live a day without coffee. When I have PMS, I will have a headache when I drink coffee. I did not bother to know the reason why. Anyway, when I am in the mood for coffee, I like the taste of McCafe and Cafe' du Monde. I noticed that I like strong coffee also. I love the Starbucks coffee too.My husband can't live a day without coffee and he loves orange juice too. But, not me. I can live with just water and full breakfast. Okay, I am in the mood for coffee now. LOL

Olive Garden Near Florida Mall

Hungry? Do you crave for an Italian food? Olive Garden is the best place to visit and you will definitely satisfy your taste buds craze for soups, salads and breadsticks. They make their own salad dressings and that's why their salad tastes better. This is my favorite refreshing fruit drink, the Berry Acqua Fresca with strawberry, blackberry and raspberry purée and mixed with acai berry and sparkling water, topped with fresh berries. They have variety of soups, salads and breadsticks which you can try as much as you want (unlimited) for $6.95. Honestly, I can only have two bowls max and my favorite is Chicken & Gnocchi which is a creamy soup made with roasted chicken, traditional Italian dumplings and spinach. The picture below is Zuppa Toscana which is a spicy sausage (yummy), russet potatoes and cavolo greens in a creamy broth. If it's creamy, I love it. Why settle for a soda when you can have a healthy beverage such as Strawberry-Mango Limonata or bella lemonata? This is Chicken Parmigiana with parmesan-breaded chicken breast, fried and topped with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese and it is served with spaghetti. If it is dinner time, the portion is even bigger and if you are famish, go ahead and order. If you want to bring home an Olive Garden salad at home, buy the dressing instead. It's less than $6 a bottle. The Olive Garden in Florida Mall is my favorite location because the servers are more friendly and polite. If you happen to visit Orlando and shop at Florida Mall, check out this address:

Souvenirs at Norwegian Sky

If you are planning to cruise via the Norwegian Sky, alcohol drinks are not included in the ticket. A beer would cost at least 7.50 but if you drink a lot, you might as well buy the Bar Manager's Special for the day. A bucket of beer is cheaper and some special wines are sold in discounted price. They also have the Island Signature Specials and Flavored Martinis. I bought this martini for $7.95 in yellow souvenir glass. Sodas are not included in your ticket too. What's included in the ticket is tea, coffee and juices. If you are thirsty for soda, you can buy a Pepsi Product for less than $30 using this souvenir glass. They will have a sticker on your keycard and it will be free refill with in the entire trip. It is actually cheap if you drink a lot of soda.

Eggnog on Christmas

Back in the Philippines, the spirit of Christmas starts when September comes. People started to decorate their homes for Christmas Season. The Malls will start displaying the Christmas decors and turning on Christmas lights inviting customers to buy the latest display of beautiful lanterns and stars. In the US, we still have to celebrate the Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving and then, Christmas. So, the celebration is fast and before we know it, it will be New Year's day and getting ready for Mardi Gras. But for me, I feel the spirit of Christmas already when I see Eggnog sold in the superstore. I will be checking eggnog this week and see if it's there in the milk section. This is "yummylicious" and Aunt Myra in Mississippi usually serve this during Christmas Party for the clan. I miss it already!

More Cool Chillers

These drinks are thirst-quenchers which are good on a hot summer days! First, this is a mudslide cocktail from Red Lobster. So creamy but, it contains a vodka nevertheless, it is really good. Now this is truly delicious but, since it is very creamy, Mc Cafe Caramel Frappe which is so good. If you hate calories, this is not for you since it contains 470 and the sugar is 67. It taste so good! If you have so many strawberries, make a Strawberry Smoothie. With strawberries, blend it with milk, yogurt, sugar, vanilla and ice. That is so yummy. This is tropical Orange Freeze at Red Lobster. It's not really my favorite because I can taste the coconut than the orange, LOL!Here's an Orange Smoothie blended with milk, yogurt, sugar, vanilla and ice. Try any fruits you have at home and make a smoothie.
A simple glass of ice tea can be thirst quenching too. You really don't need to dine out to drink a good chillers. Make your own chiller.

Cool Drinks from Olive Garden

Back in PI, the AC in the house is not centralized. My bedroom has window AC and that's it. I seldom use it because my place is located uptown. The breeze is cooler especially at night. Honestly, here in Florida at summertime it is really hot and humid. Seemed like a "Holy Week" kind-a season! So, plenty of liquid and cold juices can help cool down my scorching day. Here's what I love: a blue berry fresca. The picture below is a berry aqua fresca, so refreshing! Then, the last one is bella lemonata still from Olive Garden. The tastes are different but, I just realized now that the pictures looks similar. If you happen to dine in at this Italian Restaurant, don't order a soda! Try these drinks!

Green Tea

I love drinking iced tea. In fact, it's one of my favorite drinks when we dine out. The health benefits of Green tea includes reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease, dental cavities, kidney stones and cancer. It also improves bone density and cognitive function therefore, it's a healthy drink for me. The Tava Tea which is launched in UK is a blend of pure green tea and it's just a perfect drink that I will definitely love.

Mudslide: A Refreshing Drink

This is called MUDSLIDE! A cocktail with vodka, Kahlúa, Irish cream, and cream. Do you want to prepare a mudslide right in the heart of your kitchen? The Mudslide is a very popular cocktail that is much like the Black Russian, so they say. It uses vodka, coffee liqueur (most often Kahlua) and an Irish cream liqueur (Bailey's is most common). You can also make a mudslide without vodka or with the glass filled with either milk or cream.Ingredients:
1 oz vodka
1 oz coffee liqueur
1 oz Irish cream liqueur

Preparation:
1.Fill an old-fashioned glass with ice.
2.Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
3.Shake well. (shake it baby :-)
4.Strain into the old-fashioned glass. Enjoy!
