We live just 5 minutes away from major stores, fine dining restaurants, and food chains. Lucky us to have found such great location right? Anyway, I am not feeling well for almost a week but, last night I had this craving for food. I told my hubby that I will treat him for a date, well, it was past 8 at night such an impromptu plan thought really!Joe's Crab Shack is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. It is actually beside High Tide Harry's, another favorite place but, we decided to dine in at Joe's that night. When we came in, it's amazing to tell you guys, they are open up to midnight. There's few people who come and go in pairs and in groups. It was a nice evening and I was starving so I ordered a Stuffed Mushroom and hubby ordered shrimp and fish. Mine was only less than $8 and hubby's food costs $11, which was not bad considering it's dinner time.I ordered an appetizer thinking I can order an entree' in few minutes. My eyes is truly bigger than my stomach because after eating halfway, I was full. I was eyeing on the Seafood sampler where it has a calamari and shrimps on it.I gave only $5 tip for a $23 bill. Such affordable for a dinner really! Well, a server should get 20% tip from the diners because their pay is less than $5/hour mostly. I am not sure how much in this restaurant though but, that's what I know in some establishments here.We enjoyed our food and we ate most of it and the server was alright. This place is crowded when there's an NFL game or any sports game. If you crave for seafood, crabs in any kind, this place has the best of it. Well, the price differ in every state. If you live in Mississippi, you will enjoy bigger and cheaper king crabs or dungeness crab. Here's the set-up of their shop where you can buy Joe's souvenir products with that hungry shark watching on you.
Here's the look inside the restaurant. I refrain from taking pictures where people are dining, it's rude, right? Anyway, it's blurry because I am only using a blackberry phone camera.
That's my little rendezvous last night. Craving for food is one thing that I can't just ignore.
This is my entry for this week's Yummy Sunday. Thanks for the visit everyone!
