Gator Bites: Yummy Appetizer

Have you ever tried eating gator bites or gator tails? You will never know the difference. All I can say is that, it tastes like chicken. If you are in the south ... Florida, Alabama, Louisiana or Mississippi, check out in the restaurant menu and order this yummy appetizer. Chow!

  1. Uh--I do not live in or near any of those area and honestly don't think I could get myself to attempt to try gator tails!! Why is it I don't believe anyone when they say things taste like chicken? Or maybe it is because I don't want to believe them?

  5. My husband claims it has its own unique flavor and not like chicken at all. I cannot vouch because I refuse to try anything weird lol

  6. I did have alligator chili about 25 years ago. I couldn't tell the difference to be honest. I don't know that I would try it now though, I am a little leery about trying "wild" food now.

  7. I love those, every now and then get lucky enough that we can make them at home too. Prefer to have them out though (only because I do not have to cook then!)
