Swedish Meatballs

We went to IKEA last Wednesday to buy something as an extension to our pantry. IKEA is a home store where you can buy almost everything that you need for your home. It's a Swedish store but, the business is well-loved by the Americans and me, as a Filipino, oh yeah, I did too! Anyway, first stop? To eat first and then, shop...cool huh? This is the famous Swedish meatballs with smashed potato, it's actually sold at $3.99 but, for this month, they lower the price to $2.99. The cornbread is 2 for $.99cents, drinks is $1.49.Hubby had the chipotle potato soup and corn bread.

Gorgeous and Sexy Ladies

Have you seen the TV show Drop Dead Diva? Well, it's about a beautiful model with bad attitude who suddenly died and her soul enters the body of a plus size female lawyer, and it changes her outlook of life. I like her character because she is sexy, smart, witty and confident. I have friends who wear plus size formal dresses and they look gorgeous. It's how they carry themselves that makes them look beautiful. In fact, they are really beautiful inside and out. Most of them have good voices too and they sang so well.I should mention also that most of them have a very pretty face and I admire how they put on their make up and dress up. As I recall, my friends are very intelligent and they are really happy for who they are. I don't recall any of them regret the fact of how they have become. They would always brag about their pretty face and their intelligence which I admit, they have been blessed. Anyway, if you are wearing plus size dresses, you have nothing to feel awkward about. You are as gorgeous as these models and you should be proud for who you are.

Jasmine Rice

Back in PI, Jasmine Rice is not the tastiest rice that I love. There are other variety which taste better and the more expensive it is, the more tastier it would be (supposedly). Anyway, here in the US, Jasmine Rice is really the best rice so far. The price is a little bit higher but, it is the best rice so far :-), just trying to convince you hehehe.Everyday, I cook rice because without it makes me weak (charing...) LOL! Asian can't live a day without rice during mealtime, unless if you are already influenced by the culture you have now. If I am lazy to cook, we go out to a Chinese resto and order for take out or dine in for a buffet. Lunch will cost for $6.99 and Dinner is $9.99, without the tax, tip and drinks.

Cute Dog Collars

Look at her, isn't she cute? Two year's ago, I have an elderly friend and she had a puppy named Happy. Oh she is so adorable and her name reflects Happy's personality. She looked like the puppy below. Some families treat dogs as one of their children and that's what Happy's life always been like. Happy is considered as a daughter to my elderly friend. One time,when I visited them, I tried to put leash on Happy's neck to give her a walk in the neighborhood and she started crying and hide at the back of my friend. Later I found out that Happy doesn't like the leash because she was afraid that she will be taken away from her mommy.
